Host Aplication Form
The international community in Austin and in all area colleges and universities represents over 100 different countries. These visitors include business professionals, faculty, and students. Some are married and bring their families, while others are single.

The students fluent in English maintain their own residences in Austin. Austin area individuals and families can volunteer to act as a friend and mentor to an international student. Austin residents provide the students with an opportunity to share in the American culture, to learn about our city and to see points of interest in the area.

In return, people have the opportunity to learn about the student's home country and culture. It is a mutually rewarding experience and lasting friendships often result.
